This week I am featuring a bone china cup, saucer and plate combination. Hubby found this piece of bone china in a vintage crockery shop by the canal in Milton Keynes when he took the girls on a Narrow Boat day recently with our family. He bought it home as a present for me from the girls, and youngest was exceptionally excited for me to open it and see what was inside!
This was a one-off piece, and a quick scour of the internet hasn't really turned anything up about it. I absolutely love the gold leaf edging and the gold trimming around the edges. I have been enjoying drinking my tea in this cup!!
Roslyn China is a North Staffordshire Pottery Mark, and this piece probably dates from 1950 plus.
I would love you to come and link up and show me your china each Tuesday and tell me about what it is and what it means to you!!
